Haley Kilpatrick, Founder of Girl Talk and author of The Drama Years will present two workshops at GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi. Girl Talk is an international non-profit peer-to-peer mentoring program with a very simple premise: high school girls mentor middle school girls to help them deal with the issues they face during their formative early teenage years. Their mission is to help young teenaged girls build self- esteem, develop leadership skills and recognize the value of community service. Since 2002, the Girl Talk program has served more than 40,000 girls in 43 states and 7 countries.

Workshop for Girls (5th grade & up)
In this special workshop for girls in 5th grade and up, Girl Talk founder Haley Kilpatrick will encourage girls to let their confidence shine from the inside out, to find avenues to lead, and to never be afraid to share their talents, interests, and creations with the world! Incorporating songs from female artists as inspiration, she will guide workshop attendees through strategies to help them lead a confident life, tell their story, and contribute to make their communities a better place.
This workshop fee is $12 for members and $15 for non-members and will include lunch on the porch with Haley and a tour of The Taylor Swift Experience™ exhibit. Parents may purchace a ticket to attend the morning workshop with their child. For more information on the evening workshop click here
