Join us for GRAMMY® Gold Family Day to celebrate the opening of our new temporary exhibit, And The GRAMMY Goes To... GRAMMY Gold Family Day will include a free screening of "The Pink Panther" featuring Steve Martin, Beyonce, and music from 20-time GRAMMY Award winner Henry Mancini, special performances inspired by pop-superstar Katy Perry, art activities hosted by Delta Arts Alliance, and an opportunity to jam out on the DMI Mobile Music Lab. Plus, live music from Blue Elephant Club.
All Family Day activities and admission to Museum exhibits will be HALF PRICE and take place from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. – Explore Museum exhibits, Participate in art activities with Delta Arts Alliance, Experience music production in the DMI Mobile Music Lab
10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. – Road to GRAMMY Gold - Education Workshop
11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. – Special Performances by the Delta Arts Alliance School of Dance & Performance Squad
11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. – Food Trucks on site
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. – Live Music from Blue Elephant Club
1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. – Screening of "The Pink Panther" featuring Steve Martin, Beyonce, and music from 20-time GRAMMY Award winner Henry Mancini in the Sanders Soundstage

Blue Elephant Club was formed through friendships made through the Delta Music Institute at Delta State University. Known for playing anything from Classic Rock to 90's Pop, the Blue Elephant Club will positively get you up on your feet! Each band member may call Mississippi their home state, but they each share their own love for music, which enables them to share that love with each and every crowd while also having a little fun on stage!
The band consists of Mary Claire Rackley (Keyboard/Vocals) & Libby Switzer (Vocals) both from Gulfport, MS, Nathaniel Hensley (Bass Guitar) from Olive Branch, MS, Nick Altman (Lead Guitar) from Richland, MS, Will Garrett (Drums/Vocals) from Meridian, MS, and Evan Lindsey (Guitar/Vocals) from Greenwood, MS.
