This program was presented by the GRAMMY Museum at L.A. LIVE and Global Wildlife Conservation. GRAMMY Museum Mississippi brought the program to students in Cleveland, MS. Through this program, the Music Instructor at Bayou Academy worked with a science teacher to teach students in grades 8 – 12 about ecology and their environment. The students then observed their surroundings and their own environment and wrote a song together about their observations. They combined their lyrics with an instrumental composed by Delta Music Institute student Jarrick Finkley. The students visited Delta State University in December 2015 and worked with the Jarrick Finkley and Dalton Shipley to record their completed song together at Studio B at Delta Music Institute.
