Professional Development Workshops for Educators

Hosted by GRAMMY Museum Mississippi at Delta Music Institute’s Studio A, this free teacher development workshop was designed to provide K – 12 educators with curriculum resources as well as strategies and skills to introduce music as a tool to teach core subject areas. The workshop gave an outline of the RFK Human Rights’ Speak Truth to Power curriculum led by an RFK Lead Educator, and included a songwriting segment with Schyler O’Neal from the GRAMMY Museum that was designed to teach educators about the basics of songwriting as well as accompanying technology they can incorporate in their classroom.
