CHELSEA “BABYCDAREALIST” YOUNG, is a female Hip Hop artist from Jackson, MS. Raised in a musically inclined environment, BabycDaRealist was exposed to the culture of Hip Hop music at an early age. Because of this, she was able to realize her love for musicianship and perfect her musical talents by learning violin, bass guitar, ukulele, and piano. By being exposed to more musical traits, she developed her own personal style of songs during her senior year that can be described as nurturing Hip Hop music.
Young is a graduate of Delta State University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Entertainment Industry Studies with a concentration of Entrepreneurship from the Delta Music Institute. In 2014, BabycDaRealist won a Hip-Hop battle competition and was given the opportunity to represent her college institute program in Tunica, MS at the Southern Entertainment Awards (SEA).
Since then, she has released two albums a Mixtape and an EP, "YOU BETTER GET YOUR LIFE”, "CHARACTERISTICS OF A SOPHOMORE" "SLUGGED UP THE MOVEMENT" AND “X FANN ADDICT”. With a combination of sassiness, style and charisma, her on stage performance and lyrics easily captivates her audience. Young is also the owner of #THUGGIEGUHGANG™ the clothing line, which symbolizes encouragement to young ladies in local communities who face present day adversities that is heavily portrayed through peer pressure. As BabycDaRealist, continues to mold her craft as a female MC recording artist and young entrepreneur, she is ready to take the spotlight as her journey continues.
