Spotlight: Next Town Down

Join us for a performance and Q&A with the five young men of Next Town Down – Christopher Louis, Terence Thomas, Tre’von Waters, Malik Knighten, and Leon Outlaw, Jr. Hear them share their unique story of how the band was formed followed by an intimate performance by this new vocal sensation. 

Next Town Down- Leon, Malik, Tre’Von, Terence, and Chris- is the next great R&B vocal group. They met on social media and exploded on Musically, becoming the fastest growing music group in Musical.ly’s history. Their Evolution of Boybands video went viral with over 17 million views and cosigns from Steve Harvey, Ricky Bell, Donnie Wahlberg, and *NSYNC. Since then, their inventive YouTube and Facebook presence doubled in both August and September, generating millions of views. And some of the industry’s greats have taken notice: a quick survey of YouTube & Instagram can find NTD singing for Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, 5th Harmony, Little Mix, TLC, The Jacksons, & Smokey Robinson.

NTD headlined the AwesomenessTV closing show at VidCon 2017 and have performed at the NMPA Centennial, the Black Music Honors, and at YouTube Headquarters. Their unreleased song, Feeling Myself, was featured for two months in a daily MLB highlight segment . Their second single Man on the Loose was featured in Billboard and on Spotify’s New Music Friday. Their original music is known for its feel good vibes that get fans on the dance floor and bring back R&B. They are signed to Sony/ATV Music Publishing and UTA and have a debut tour planned for spring 2017.
