GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi and Ella Fitzgerald Foundation presents a FREE professional development session for teachers on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Participants who complete the training will receive 1.0 CEU credit, certified through Delta State University, lesson plans and other curricular materials to use with their students, opportunities to publish their lesson plans for others to use, as well as swag from each of the presenting organizations! In partnership with Take Me To The River Education Initiative and Berklee City Music, join this all-star cast to explore the musical culture of Memphis & New Orleans that influenced & inspired the world's most popular music. Educators come for free with a lunch included. Community Members are also invited to attend for $15 which includes lunch. Please Register as well.

All necessary materials for the Professional Development Workshop will be distributed prior to the workshop date. Classroom materials will be distributed following the in-person training session.
CEU Requirements:
- Pre-Workshop Film & Activity to be completed and turned in online before in-person training on October 19th.
- Mandatory attendance to the in-person training session at the Museum on October 19th from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Complete the appropriate paperwork at the end of the in-person training session to receive CEU certificate.
